Founded in 2003, A La Carte Specialty Foods, LLC (“ALC”) partnered with a national retail chain to launch three unique heat and serve seafood products in 700 locations nationwide. The products were seafood fettuccine, seafood gumbo and crab poppers. Shortly thereafter, long before breaded oysters had a foothold in national retail and foodservice markets, ALC pioneered the category with Boudreaux’s Homestyle Breaded Oysters brand — establishing consumer demand through targeted niche marketing, strategic regional placement, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
What began as a regional specialty grew into the number 1 national brand of FanSEA Homestyle Breaded Oysters, with distribution in major retail chains and foodservice distributors nationwide.
A New Era — The FanSEA™ Brand
Two decades of brand-building experience have prepared ALC for its boldest move yet.
FanSEA™ is ALC's new umbrella brand — a platform designed to bring the same craftsmanship and market savvy that defined our early success into a new generation of premium seafood products. The FanSEA™ brand launches with FanSEA™ Shrimp, a premium line of breaded shrimp available in three bold, distinctive flavors — including the show-stopping Tortilla Lime Chipotle. Crafted with shrimp, perfectly coated and frozen fresh, FanSEA™ Shrimp delivers exceptional flavor that's as ready for the fryer as it is for the spotlight.
FanSEA™ is just the beginning. Additional product lines are in development, each carrying the quality and innovation that ALC has built its reputation on.
